Costa Blanca – Spain
The Costa Blanca, or White Coast, is one of Spain’s most popular tourist destinations. It offers arguably the best coastal climate in Europe. The region extends 200 kilometres along the Mediterranean coast through the province of Alicante, stretching from Denia in the north, beyond Torrevieja to the border with the Costa Calida, near Murcia. Visitors to the Costa Blanca are spoilt for choice, for the destinations are varied and diverse. The Costa Blanca has a resort town/destination to suit every taste. From the most bustling and cosmopolitan resorts such as Benidorm and Torrevieja, to those which still maintain their quiet seaside charm, such as Moraira or Javea.
Because the very popular southern Costa Banca is poorly served by public transportation and a car is required, we are initially concentrating our padel trips on the often-overlooked capital of Alicante, with a beautiful white sandy San Juan beach and the Santa Barbara castle offering panoramic city views, and close stops located on the very efficient and modern northern coast tram. For those wanting to extend their stay beyond the padel trip, the Costa Blanca is an excellent destination for sun & sea, beach tourism.
The Costa Blanca is served by Alicante airport, with a very large number of direct flights from several UK and Ireland airports. Flight times from UK & Ire range from 2 to 2.5 hours, making a 4-day program or even a weekend padel trip extremely appealing.
Our destination clubs are located within easy public transportation of the city, or a quick taxi/Uber/Freenow/Cabify ride. Clubs have restaurants or cafés serving meals on site, and a car for exploration beyond your padel trip, is discretionary (and depends on where you wish to visit).
